Where power meets precision — for nearly half a century.
Founded in 1979, Phasor Corporation is a full-service electrical power engineering firm serving industrial, commercial, and government clients nationwide. Four-plus decades on, the Phasor name is built on reliability, safety, and efficiency — and our certified engineers combine over 100 years of collective professional experience with current-generation technology to deliver state-of-the-art electrical products and services the way they should be: by the people who did the work, without the dispatch layer.
- Established 1979 — 40+ years of electrical power engineering, delivered founder-led and accountable end to end.
- Headquartered — 18 Maffett Street, Plains, PA (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre metro, Northeast Pennsylvania), with a satellite office in Willow Grove, near Philadelphia.
- Coverage — strategically positioned within 300 miles of every major city in New England and the Mid-Atlantic; remote engineering and nationwide service.
- Certified & compliant — certified engineers working to industry standards (NFPA 70E arc-flash, protective-device coordination), with solutions customized to your reliability and safety requirements.
- Ownership — U.S. Air Force veteran, service-disabled. No rotating field crew, no "your ticket has been escalated."
- Documented — as-installed drawings, checkout records, and punch-list closure delivered with the work, not after it.
N/J-series systems + SDVOSB advantage.
In addition to the commercial power-systems practice, Phasor performs site survey, installation, integration checkout, and preventive and corrective maintenance on N/J-series designated systems at defense and federal customers — small-business scale, direct accountability.
- Set-aside status — SDVOSB certification in progress via SBA VetCert. Verify at SAM.gov before award.
- Registration — SAM.gov registered. UEI, CAGE, and NAICS in the capability statement.
- 3% SDVOSB goal — selecting Phasor supports the government-wide contracting goal and the prime's small-business subcontracting plan.
Cyber-adjacent scope? One team.
Where a power-systems effort carries a cyber-adjacent scope — secure configuration, incident support, evidence handling — Phasor teams with sister firm CyberRisk Services, LLC under an established teaming arrangement.
- One accountable point of contact across the hardware and cyber legs of the effort.
- Clean corporate separation — distinct entities, common ownership discipline, no scope confusion at award.
What we do
Seven power practices. One tech of record.
Every service below is delivered by the same crew that answers the phone — no dispatch tier, no scope hand-offs, no "your case has been escalated."
UPS systems & uninterruptible power
Design, installation, and maintenance of uninterruptible power supplies — from single-cabinet standalone units to parallel-redundant data-center scale. Site assessment through commissioning to condition-based service.
Battery plants & products
VRLA, lithium, and wet-cell battery plants sized to your load and runtime target. Installation, discharge testing, cell replacement, and end-of-life disposition — documented for insurance and audit.
Backup generators
Standby generator sizing, installation, transfer-switch coordination, load-bank testing, and preventive maintenance. Diesel and natural-gas platforms.
Arc-flash analysis
NFPA 70E-compliant arc-flash hazard studies — incident-energy calculations, label generation, and PPE-category recommendations. Delivered with the drawings your safety program needs.
Coordination studies
Protective-device coordination and short-circuit studies for facilities where a nuisance trip is a business event. Time-current curves, selectivity analysis, and setting recommendations.
Preventive & corrective maintenance
Scheduled inspection, fault isolation, corrective repair, and end-of-life de-installation. The technician of record is on your status call — not a tier-1 dispatcher.
Equipment racks & enclosures
Rack layout, cable management, PDU sizing, and physical build-out for network-closet through data-center scale. Documented with as-installed drawings.
Thermography studies
Infrared inspection of switchgear, panelboards, transformers, and terminations — catches loose connections and failing components before they take you offline. Documented reports for insurance and CMMS closeout.
Selecting a service-disabled-veteran-owned small business supports the government-wide 3% SDVOSB contracting goal and the prime's small-business subcontracting plan. Phasor Corp's SDVOSB certification is in progress via SBA VetCert — verify current status at SAM.gov before award. Quality over scale: Phasor bids only work it can staff with the people named in the proposal.
